Cookie Policy

The short version

Nodifye sets only what the network genuinely needs to function. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no cross-site profiling, and nothing sold to anyone. You can choose Essential only and lose no functionality at all.

What we store on your device

  • Sign-in session (essential). A token in your browser's local storage that keeps you signed in. Removing it signs you out.
  • Consent choice (essential). Your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every visit.
  • Device authorisation and key material (essential, local only). If you generate a 24-word sovereign key, the derived signing material stays in your browser's local database. It is never transmitted to Nodifye.
  • Interface preferences (essential). Small values such as whether you collapsed the readiness checklist.
  • Security and delivery (essential). Our hosting and backend providers may set short-lived cookies to route requests and block abuse.

What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting pixels.
  • Third-party analytics that profile you across sites.
  • Social network tracking widgets.

If that ever changes, those categories will be off by default and only switched on if you choose Accept all.

Your choices

  • Essential only — rejects every non-essential category. Today that is the same technical footprint as accepting, because we run nothing optional.
  • Accept all — permits the essential set plus any optional category we may introduce later, as described here.
  • Change your mind whenever you like: use Cookie preferences in the footer of any page.
  • You can also clear site data in your browser. Doing so signs you out and removes local key material — export or back up your seed phrase first.

Payment providers

When you pay by card, our payment processor may set cookies on its own checkout to complete the transaction and prevent fraud. Those are strictly necessary for the payment and are governed by the processor's own policy. Lightning payments set nothing.
